Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her interest in the stage. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV role. Anna's first big part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. Following her appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's She was then chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood and was filming in the mid 2000's. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn was on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four part audio podcast that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few years of Walter White.
