Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American British sitarist and musician. She won the British House of Commons' Shield as the youngest, and first female recipient. Apart from the nine Grammy awards and nine Grammy nominations, she also became the first Indian-born musician to present at and perform in the live ceremony. Anoushka is the rising star in Indian sitar. She's a child of Ravi Shankar and a former student. Born in 1982, she was raised in London.
