Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, a stunning actress who has left a mark in the film industry. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. The next year was not long after when she moved to Texas. She started a new career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon moved in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local commercials as well as films. Despite the small roles, she discovered acting as her true interest. Then she moved into New York in 2001 and got her first acting job on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. In the beginning of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside many famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. Her role most remembered for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on a drama television show. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. She was Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Most recent TV appearance was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat more dark-hearted comedy Do No Harm. The show was ended after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory as well as being Italian through origin. Her family was a very strict and religious one. Milano's journey into the world of sports began when she was seven when her babysitter invited her to a talent show. With more than 1000 applicants they were selected among only four. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and the American premier of Jane Eyre.
